Founded in 1967 by Guenter Enderle, NEKTON is a German company that continues to produce animal vitamins and supplements under the ownership and management of Guenter's son, Thomas. The NEKTON-CAT line includes specialized supplements for healthy skin, shiny fur, and to stabilize cats' digestive systems. NEKTON-Biotic-Cat is a probiotic supplement designed to help regulate cats' digestion. It can be particularly useful in cases of digestive disorders, stress, regeneration after surgery or illness, and after antibiotic treatments.

Indigestion is a common problem for cats, often arising from illness, stress, or antibiotic treatments, as well as changes in diet or feeding mistakes. These factors can disrupt the balance of the gut, altering the pH level and composition of important intestinal flora, negatively impacting the cat's well-being. Maintaining a stable gut environment is essential for optimal food absorption and digestion.

NEKTON-Biotic-Cat contains a high amount of the probiotic strain Enterococcus faecium, which can improve stool consistency and regulate intestinal pH, creating an optimal environment for beneficial flora while suppressing harmful germs. Vegetable ingredients like flaxseed, oat bran, psyllium, and apple pomace provide fiber to facilitate gentle digestion and soothe the intestines, also having a prebiotic effect.

Mannan-oligosaccharides in NEKTON-Biotic-Cat increase important bacteria, produce short-chain fatty acids, and support the cat's immune system by preventing harmful germs from adhering to the intestines. Coconut flour, rich in minerals and essential fatty acids, and brewer's yeast, providing natural micronutrients, are also included.

NEKTON-Biotic-Cat contains the essential amino acids L-arginine and taurine, crucial for cats of all ages. It is an excellent complement to Nekton-Cat-VM multivitamin, Nekton-Cat-H for skin and coat, and Nekton-Keep-Cool calming supplement.

The recommended dosage is one heaping scoop (1g) per 5kg of body weight, daily. For digestive disorders, it should be administered for 10-15 days or more, with veterinary advice. NEKTON-Biotic-Cat can be offered as a 6-8 week cure or for support during breeding, mixed into slightly moistened dry food for better absorption.

The product should be stored dry and out of sunlight, between 15-25°C, and kept away from children. NEKTON-Biotic-Cat is available in 60g, 110g, and 240g sizes.
